Clipper blade care

To keep your blades sharp for as long as possible, I'll give you a few little tips:

• Only use the blades when the coat is clean: dirt and dust act like sandpaper. They get between the cutting plates and dull your blade.

• Oil the blade in between and after each use: For in between use, use the handy ANDIS Care Spray or ANDIS Cool Care Plus. After use, we recommend the ANDIS Blade Care Plus oil in the practical can.

• If your blades is hot: cool it with WAHL Blade Ice or ANDIS Cool Care Plus.

• If the blade plucks and no longer cuts: you may be able to make it work again by cleaning it thoroughly. Another option is, e.g., with the Favorita II, that you need to tighten the plate pressure. If this does not help, send it to us for sharpening.
